VoodooDuck is a new video game development studio located in Duisburg, Germany. Our experienced founding team has worked on a small cozy soft-strategy Game called “Growth”, which was released in October 2023 on PC and Switch.

For our following project “Collector’s Cove” we are looking for a skilled 3D Animation Artist starting in May 2024.

Collector’s Cove” is a cozy farming simulation game set in a world dominated by seemingly endless seas, with only scattered small islands to explore. In this largely uncharted world, the profession of a collector is highly coveted, attracting young individuals with enthusiasm and ambition.

The goal of the game is to complete the Collector’s Compendium by catching fish, harvesting plants, and finding rare curiosities. By exploring the game world and interacting with NPCs, players gradually expand their collection. While navigating the world with their ship, which is pulled by a giant animal companion, they will discover unexplored islands, bond with their companion and rise in the ranks of Collectors.

VoodooDuck is looking for a passionate 3D Animation Artist (m/f/d) who wants to give life to the characters and the world of a cozy farming game. You have an eye for detail, know how to rig and animate characters and props and can create 3D assets from concept to game ready asset. You can work in a small team, are self-sufficient and highly motivated. Your role will be very crucial for the overall look of the game.


Developing and ensuring a coherent animation style fitting a cozy and stylized farming game
Creating high-quality keyframe animations, including rigging and skinning
Integrate ready-made assets into Unreal Engine
Creating and uv mapping 3D assets based on given concepts in Blender
Working with Unreal Engine
Work very closely with the team to review and give feedback for assets


Experience with Unreal Engine
Basic knowledge with Photoshop
Experience with Blender
3+ years of experience in Game Development
At least one game release
Living or willing to relocate to North-Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Open to learn and develop your current skills
Fluent in German and English
Working in a self-reliant, organized manner


Skills and experience in creating 3D character models
Good knowledge of Version Control software
Experience in Creating VFX/Shader
Experience in Google Workspace
